Handloom & Resham Building, Zero Mile, Bhagalpur
The Handloom & Resham Building, Zero Mile, Bhagalpur at a cost of Rs.1364.00 lakh has been constructed by Bihar Rajya Bhawan Nirman Nigam Limited, Patna. The newly constructed building is central and state government textile offices at Bhagalpur. This building has the office of Export Promotion. The building will have provision of emporium for sale and display of silk products. This emporium has provision for 72 stalls to be manufactured for the exhibition of handloom and silk products. In the building, two sites have been reserved for display of Manjusha and other artworks.
Tasar Pilot Project Centre, Inaravaran, Katoria, Banka
10 acres of land at Karjhounsa in Katoria block of Banka district has been secured with barbed wire. One administrative building, five Tassar Seed Storage Bhawan and one Tassar Kokun Bank have been constructed. Each tassar seed storage building has the capacity to hang one lakh tassar seed. That is, two lakh tassar silkworms (disease-free rashes) are prepared from five lakh tassar seed koa simultaneously in one season. This makes tassar disease-free rashes easily available to the tassar silkworm breeders in the area.Tassar Kokun Bank’s capacity stores one crore tassar koya. As a result, the silkworm farmers of the area get the tassar produced immediately at a reasonable price and the regional farmers are easily able to get tassar for threading throughout the year.

One administrative building, five Tassar seed storage Bhawan and one Tassar Kokun Bank have been constructed. Each tassar seed storage building has the capacity to hang one lakh tassar seed coe. That is, two lakh tassar silk seed (disease-free worms) are prepared from five lakh tassar seed simultaneously in one season. This makes tassar disease-free worms easily available to the tassar breeders in the area. Tassar Kokun Bank’s capacity stores one crore tassar koya. As a result, the insect farmers of the area get the tasar coe produced immediately at a reasonable price and the regional farmers are easily able to get tassar koe for threading throughout the year.
